James Whitfeld BVSc

Focus: Racetrack practice, Performance horse lameness.

After completing his degree in New Zealand in 1992 James joined the Randwick Equine Centre. He later spent three years working in South East Asia for the Malaysian Racing Association, before moving back to the Randwick Equine Centre as a partner. James more recently (2011) moved to Bowral, NSW and became a founding partner of the Southern Highlands Equine Centre.
An experienced racetrack and general practitioner, James now shares his time between both practices. He provides expert care to race horses most mornings at Warwick Farm, whilst his afternoons are spent servicing the performance horse properties of the Southern Highlands.

Hobbies: Cycling, Mountain Bike Riding
